The Great Gatsby: Leonardo DiCaprio
This scene. This entire part of the story from him bringing the flowers until Daisy has to go home. I love it. It’s undeniably perfect. Just. Ugh. Perfect.
baz luhrmann is such a fine director. he has the gift to create his own little world, his own utopia. i am so impressed by the great gatsby. it is beyond words. he is one of the few directors who can really blow you away with the visual effects. luhrmann’s movie adaptation was more than i could expect. i wonder what fitzgerald would think. and on that note, leo is the brightest. he is ageless. he is the great gatsby.
Such a powerful movie. One of my favorites, and so emotional.
